Why the lab exists.
The Workflow Lab is an applied research group led by Wei Chen, with Fasheng Xu as founding research partner and a network of collaborators. The lab's work spans academic research, a business novel, and applied experiments with AI-native workflows — all aimed at closing the gap between what AI can do at the task level and what organizations actually need to change to benefit from it.
